Mad Dog Armory was founded by Jillian Biltz in 2016 to create a friendly and safe environment for the community to get all of their personal and defense needs met.
The Biltz's are very passionate about education and encouraging safety in the community. We want to be your gun shop, and our promise is to provide friendly, knowledgeable service with a smile. We and our staff pride ourselves on helping you make an informed decision based on your wants and needs. The Owners
JILLIAN BILTZ - CEO
Jillian is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor and Range Safety Officer. She opened Mad Dog Armory with a dream of removing the stigma about firearms and educating her community in a safe, friendly atmosphere. Her shop is welcoming and her staff is made up of friendly, patient, and experienced professionals.
She empowers her clients and students by providing them with the skills and confidence, while having fun! When she's not in the shop, Jillian enjoys boating, football, spending time with family and her two black labs, Niko and Zeus.
SHAD BILTZ - COO
Shad is a native Floridian and a military brat. From the age of 12, he enjoyed firearms, weapons, and hunting. He is an NRA Certified Instructor and range safety officer offering a calm nature with a vast knowledge of firearms and customer service. Shad is also an avid Buccaneers fan and one of his favorite things to do when he isn't at Mad Dog is boating and being with family. Shad loves what he does for a living and makes it a point to always have fun while working.

LARGO
Our Largo store, located off the corner of Seminole Blvd and Walsingham Rd, is the first and original store we opened back in 2016. With an emphasis on education, we have had hundreds of people partake in our training and enjoying our products & services. This store features a SilencerShop kiosk, on-site gunsmithing, off-site engraving and Cerakoting, firearms, and many options for various parts and accessories.
TAMPA
To better serve Tampa Bay residents, we decided to open a store off of W Kennedy Blvd and S Habana Ave. It officially opened on May 4th, 2021 and features much of the same great products as the Largo store but with additional space to accommodate more products and greater variety. Classes and on-site gunsmithing are also available here as well as access to our off-site services. You'll find the atmosphere to be relaxed and enjoyable while we work to provide the right products and information that you're looking for.
